Thinking between the iDOO 12-pod system and the AeroGarden Harvest Lite. I like the automated reminders on the AeroGarden, but 12 pods sounds tempting for salads.

I had the Harvest Lite first, then upgraded to the iDOO 12-pod. The iDOO gives way more flexibility for growing variety, but it’s bulkier. If space is a constraint, go AeroGarden.
Grabbed the Gourmet Herb Seed Pod Kit to try with my Ahopegarden 10-pod and it was super easy to start. Cilantro popped up faster than I expected.
Seed pod tip: store extra pods in a cool, dry place. Keeps germination rates higher. Learned the hard way when mine sprouted poorly after being in a warm cupboard.

Taste is subjective, but I did notice my cilantro lasted longer with the branded nutrient.
